Praewa "Patty" Boonlue | Boonlue is currently pursuing an Environmental Science and Management degree with an emphasis on Climate Change/Air Quality at the University of California, Davis. Prior to transferring to UC Davis, she graduated De Anza College with an AA in Liberal Arts (Science, Math, Engineering focus). Boolue was awarded a National Center for Sustainable Transportation Research Fellowship by the UC Davis Institute for Transportation Studies to work in the Aridlab. Boonlue's research explores the solar energy potential of 25 of the largest rooftops in the United States, under the advisement of Professor Hernandez. Learn more about this project here.


Sadie Olson | Sadie is currently in her 4th and final year as an undergraduate student at the University of California, Davis. She is pursuing a degree in Environmental Science and Management with a focus on Watershed Science and a minor in general geology. She is the Vice President of the Environmental Club at UC Davis and active volunteer with Putah Creek Council. She recently spent 14 days this summer studying soil properties and ecology throughout Northern California and parts of Nevada. Sadie is exercising her new expert knowledge in GIS and cartography to create professional maps showcasing California's solar energy potential. Her goal is to complete 60 high-resolution maps before summer.


Esther Robles | is currently a fourth year undergraduate student, studying Environmental Science and Management with a focus in Natural Resources Management at UC Davis. Robles is also pursuing a minor in Geographic Information Systems. As a first generation college graduate, Robles transferred from Diablo Valley College last year and will graduate from UC Davis in 2017. Robles was awarded a National Center for Sustainable Transportation Research Fellowship by the UC Davis Institute for Transportation Studies to work in the Aridlab.
